Abraham of says: “There is nothing more important than feeling good.”
The reason that this holds true is that your feelings are an indicator to how you are creating. Good feelings indicate positive creation as the vibrations that you are generating through your thoughts, are in alignment with your higher self. Conversely, bad feelings indicate you are out of alignment with your higher self.
I have found the key to maintaining positive creation is to set the tone of your day. I find that often in the morning it is easy to be caught in a “grump” and that I have to look for a positive view for the day. It’s like choosing the background music for your life. Light and easy. Mellow and melancholy. Rocking and invigorating. Happy and bright. The whole mood for the day can be set right here!
The way I like to do this is:
Whilst dozing before getting up, spend a few minutes thinking about what I would really like to happen today. Wouldn’t it be great if……… Then I spend some time feeling about that would be like.
Before work I set aside 15 to 20 minutes to meditate. I find this invaluable because if you are still not tuned to the right feeling this can be the circuit breaker. I think it is like re-booting your computer. All the dud files that are slowing your performance are closed or deleted giving you a clean start.
There are many, many ways to meditate, from religious techniques to high tech methods and you should find the one that suits you. To make things easy here is my “GT’s quick and eaasy method”, which is :
• Find a comfortable quiet place
• Look at each limb: Right Leg……it’s relaxed: Left Leg……It’s relaxed; Right Arm……It’s relaxed; Left Leg……..It’s relaxed: Torso……It’s relaxed.
• Now notice your breath as it flows into your chest. Out of you nose. Do this 5 or 6 times.
• Now just let your breath flow in out.
• Now, the whole point of the exercise is to not think about it. The whole point is to not think about anything and that is easier said than done. As thoughts pop into you head you should notice them and let them go.
“Did I turn the dishwasher off?” Let it go.
“ I hope the boss is in a good mood today?” Let it go.
“I hope the kids are alright at school.” Let it go.
• The whole point is to let go of all that muck we carry around in our life and just be. It will let you become closer to your higher self and does take practice and concentration. I often find that I arrive at work positive and energized whilst everybody else is bemoaning the commencement of another day at work.
This should get you started with meditation but I will go into greater depth later in my Blog.
Now you are calm. “What am I feeling? What do I want? What do I intend?”
This is the tone or the underlying feeling that you are tuning to do for the day.
“I am open to great sales today.”
“I am prosperous and abundant today.”
“I am loving and joyful!”
It is important during the day to regularly check that you are still tuned to the desired tone or feeling because the goings on in life can easily knock you off the desired “channel”.
Ask. “What am I feeling? What do I want? What do I intend?”
Re-set the tone.
I have also found that it is important to take close note of your feelings. When you ask “What am I feeling?” major issues in life such as financial problems can distort the tone. Because they are always there you feel this as normal. The worry is your base feeling, so when you think your in neutral or happy spot you maybe still emitting fear and worry. Look at your feelings closely and choose a thought to move to a better place.
By noticing the underlying your tone you can manage how you are creating. You will be surprised how often you move off the desired “channel”, to a feeling which may have you creating negatively. With a little effort and practice you can quickly move to more positive tones and have a positive, creative and rewarding life.
