Practical Attraction - A Personal Journey #6

I was replying to someone’s blog who was asking how to create the desired result from a court case they were contesting and this was what I wrote.

“You need to release the resistance your are feeling about the outcome of the case and the people with whom you are contesting the case. See the court case only in terms of them outcome you desire even if this outcome seems impossible or illogical. Then step back and allow source to create. Hold to positive feelings and if doubt or fear creeps, in look for a better thought or move your thoughts to a place of feeling good.”

“Hold to good feelings and your desire will come to you.”

When I looked at in terms of my own attempts to deliberately create it felt like a bit of an epiphany. So I re-wrote in more general terms that could be applied to most situations.


1/ Determine your desire. Find clarity.

This is what I want.

Write it down. Make a list. Be definite in what you want.


2/ Release any resistance you are feeling about the possible outcomes in relation to your desire.

Fears that you hold are the largest stumbling block to creating your desires. You can use any number of methods to release the fear including deep breathing, meditation and focusing on this very moment of now.

Also recently I came across the Sedona method which I have very effective at releasing fear and negative feelings.

The Sedona Method, in basic.

1) Start by just becoming ultimately aware of the moment.
2) Become aware of the thought you are having.
3) Notice where you feel it in your body, if you cant feel it, dont worry.
4) Begin asking yourself if you could allow yourself to let it go. "Could I let this thought/feeling/____ go?" Then answer yourself.
5) Next, ask yourself "If I could, would I let this thought/feeling/____ go?" Then answer.
6) Next, ask yourself "When?" and then answer yourself.


3/ See your desire in only terms of a positive outcome, even if this outcome seems impossible or illogical.

These thoughts should be free of the constraints of practicalities. Let your imagination go. Enjoy the freedom and feel how good these things will be.
The feelings you receive should feel light and give you energy.

4/ Then step back and allow source to create and intend to receive.

I think for many people this is the hardest of all things to do because we are brought up to take action to achieve our desires. Here we are delegating the creation of our desires to source. Hold to positive feelings and if doubt or fear creeps in look for a better thought or move your thoughts to a place of feeling good.

Our feelings are our compass. They show whether are thoughts and therefore vibrations we are sending out are in alignment with the creation of our desires.
But fearful thoughts about the future are for most of us, a very difficult habit to change. So we need to be conscious of our feelings and release any negative feelings as shown in step 2 then seek a better thought.

Be open to receiving your desire. Be ready. Calmly accept and be thankful

Expect the best!

The Plates and the Beach House.

The Plates and the Beach House.

I was at my sisters for Sunday lunch yesterday with a lot of other people to farewell my niece as she is about to take up a position as an entertainer on a cruise ship in the Mediterranean, which is fantastic news as it has been a difficult path for her to find work as a singer/dancer.

We were sitting down to a lovely lunch when my sister came past checking to see we were all enjoying our lunch.

“Do you like my beach house plates?” She asked motioning to wards the lovely new china we were eating off.

“Beach house …plates.” I replied somewhat confused, as I was certain that my sister didn’t own one.

“Yes.” She replied. “These are for the beach we are going to get.”

“West coast or down on the Peninsula.”

“Oh, definitely the Peninsula!” She confirm

My sister was deliberately creating even when she didn’t know it!

She has asked and is very definite about her desire to the point that she has already selected and purchased the crockery for the house. Last week I spoke of expectation and the effect it has on how quickly we manifest and you couldn’t get a higher level of expectation than already having purchased the crockery for your soon to appear beach house. Such a purchase in expectation of receiving your desire creates a vibration, which is in alignments with your desire.

I am very sure that my sister will very soon have her beach house!

This is a very sound strategy. In her book “The Game of Life” Florence Scovel Shinn talks of “digging ditches” which is preparing the foundations of the manifestation of your desires, which is exactly the action my sister has taken in the purchase of the plates. It shows “active faith” that you are going to receive your desires. By examining your actions you can identify whether you are preparing for success or failure. Do your actions demonstrate faith or fear?

Practical Attraction - A Personal Journey #5

It seems at the moment that I am receiving regular flashes of ideas that are very appropriate to my situation. This week it was:

“It’s your level of expectation that determines how effectively you create when you deliberately creating using the LOA.”

Previously I have written about an idea I called the “Expectancy Scale”.
It consists of a range of feelings that you might have about the likely hood of receiving you desires. The range was:

DEPRESSION; PESSIMISTIC; MELANCHOLY; AMBIVALENT; HOPEFUL; EXPECTANT; BELIEF.


The idea is that the further down the scale towards the Depression you are the less likely that you are going to receive your desires. So by identifying here on the scale you are in relation to the feelings you are having a bout what you are deliberately creating you then choose better thoughts about your desire until your feelings are belief in receiving.

I have found that I need to search around for feelings of doubt and fear. The thoughts you hold about you desires must generate feelings of joy and certainty. There is no room for ifs or buts or the calamities that may occur if you deliberate creation does not eventuate.

I have found this an un unusual place for someone has lived on fear and trepidation for 50 years. If you live your life as though the sky is going to fall at any particular moment, then life is going to be a very bumpy ride!
And I can tell you mine has been a very bumpy ride.

But now I am smoothing out the road by choosing better thoughts and am truly amazed at how much better life can be.

Practical Attraction - A Personal Journey #4

I sometimes find that in creating with LOA I can get all tangled in knots. Monitoring feelings. Choosing a better thought. Getting burdened with the persistent thoughts and feelings of fear and negativity that won’t go away.
Worrying about the vibrations that I emmitting and how they might impede the arrival of what I am creating. Ensuring that I am in a position of allowing.

Then the other day the simplest of thoughts about how to handle of this came to me.

EXPECT THE BEST!

And really the law of attraction can be as simple as this. If the best things that we could expect came into our lives then we would be creating the best life we could have!

Expectation is a key to deliberate creation. How expectant we are will determine our quickly we will receive.

So it makes sense that if we expect the best in everything we are giving our attention too then we cannot help to create our best possible life.

Practical Attraction - A Personal Journey #3

Every now and again I receive a thought that feels like an epiphany. Here’s one I had recently, but I am really peeved that I lost the little note book that I had purchased recently to record such things. Even then what I had written, I don’t think the words exactly portray the feeling of the thought.

Here it is:

"Allowing is accepting thoughts, feelings and actions into your life, that your rational thought tells you are impossible, ridiculous, fanciful, unlikely and irrational. It’s is freeing yourself of the constraints of your rational thought and enjoying the freedom of your creative thought."

I think the key issue is being free of any fear or resistance from these, what you might call radical thoughts. Resistance and fear develops when we fall back to our old constraining thoughts, as we again measure or compare our lives to the frameworks and paradigms that have been learned in the “rational” world that we grew up in.

Allowing is letting the vibrations generated by our thoughts to sit in the moment. No wanting, no fear, no resistance. Just enjoy the vibration of your desire kind of floating in the ether. Now your job is receiving, the penultimate act of allowing. Check that you are feeling good and stay out of the way of the non-physical bringing your desires. When you have received be truly thankful.

Allow yourself a great life.

Practical Atraction - A Personal Journey #2

Well life has been interesting as I continue to work to get myself into the vibration that will create abundance for me. The past couple of weeks I have had some experiences that have been almost euphoric in feeling, learnt a lot about the place I think I need to be and had battles with my feelings as I struggle to maintain the state of “feeling good”.

Recently I have had some days where I have felt buoyant and good, almost to the point of euphoria. I have been able to stay in the moment of now and release fear of calamities that could enter my life. When thoughts of things I didn’t want began to enter my mind I was able to move to the outcomes I wanted and find the feeling of allowing these things into my life. In short I have been able partition myself from those thoughts that generate fear and only think of things the way I would like them to be.

It is a curious feeling to live not based on the reality you have been brought up to believe but to move to that life you desire. I have found that there is always a part of me that wants to move back to security of those thoughts of fear and worry, which are “old” friends. To not be full of fear, when the possibility of calamities entering your life exist, is truly a new experience for me and I have to guard against spiraling downwards into m old thought habits.

In fact it has happened that I have become overcome with fear and it has felt like a battle to get back to feeling good, as those negative thoughts are well practiced and very persistent. I meditate every day and this is a powerful tool to neutralise fearful thoughts, but still I have good and bad days and it is one of my goals to be able to maintain calm and well being even in the most trying of circumstances. It makes sense that since you attract what you think, then if you maintain positivity, even in the most difficult circumstance, then you only attract positive things.

On of the things I try to daily is to read a part of a book or a quote because often they will remind you of an important point that you may otherwise overlook. The other day I found something profound in a daily Abraham quote I receive by email.

“The realization that something is not as you want it to be is an important first step, but once you have identified that, the faster you are able to turn your attention in the direction of a solution, the better, because a continuing exploration of the problem will prevent you from finding the solution. The problem is different vibrational frequency than the solution – and all thoughts (or vibration) are affected (or managed by) the Law of Attraction.”

This resonated with me, as it is contrary to the way most of us deal with difficult situations. Most of us when faced with a problem, wrestle with it. Focus upon the negative aspects and the effect of it. Obviously this generates vibrations which are more likely to perpetuate the situation. Therefore looking for a positive vibration makes perfect sense if you are wanting to create a solutions.

Practical Atraction - A Personal Journey #1

As I have written previously, I am manifesting money for bills and debts, which are becoming increasingly urgent in their need to be paid.

It has been a journey in excruciating ebbs and flows of negative emotions.

There have been times when I have felt calm and positivity in which I held strong feelings of expectation and an openness to allow my desires to manifest.

Conversely there have been times when the negative emotions have left me feeling fractured and terrified of the out come. A long time student of meditation using crystals, I have had to use them frequently to calm my fears. All my old habits of negative thought over ran any positivity I felt. It was also interesting that at times I felt calm, I also felt this uneasiness that I wasn’t feeling all the stress and unease that I had usually felt in this situation. And so consequently I would start feeling stressed again. A real paradox!

During the calm periods I received a number of strong intuitive flashes.

The first flash was:

Ignore the consequences. That is, don’t focus on the calamities that may occur if you don’t pay your obligations. Focus on staying in the moment and feeling good to allow your desires.

Detach from the outcome. Don’t emit feelings of this must happen, as this promotes a feeling of lack which will hold your desires away from you. This is part of allowing.

Be free of fear. Stay in the moment and focus on feeling good. Fear will hold your desires away from you.

Allow the flow…..head downstream. Allow the flow of life. Once the divine has been invoked you must allow it to bring your desires to you. Be ready to receive.

Let the money flow out. Like breathing, it must be allowed to flow in out. Fixating on keeping what you have is focusing on the perceived scarcity of money and will slow money coming to you. You must have a strong expectation of receiving.

What vibration do you want to emit. When you are feeling fear is that what you want to emit. Listen to your feelings. Choose a better feeling thought!

Further to this, I have found that as I monitored my feelings I could detect my base feeling. That is, the one which I emit by default. It is the one that I carry around all day, which has grown from all the experiences and lessons I have had over the years. It’s full of “I can’t do that.” And, “that won’t happen to me. That happens to other people who are better than me.” Also, “Your just totally ungrounded if that’s gonna happen!”

These feelings and thoughts are the enemy. This is the belief system that is bringing all the things you don’t want! Monitor your feelings. Choose confident and optimistic thoughts! Choose a great life!
