The Law Of Attraction And The Art Of Sales: Part 1 -In The Beginning

I have been following the spiritual route in my life for over 25 years. I started searching for answers on how to live my life after a major difficulties in my life. Thus, at this time I decided I was never going to allow my life to collapse in that way ever again and so a journey through books and ideas began.

The authors that have had the most influence on me are Florence Scovel Shinn in “The Game of Life”; Neale Donald Walsch in the “Conversations with God” series; and of course the “Law of Attraction” series by Abraham Hicks.

The interesting thing with these 3 authors is that they each have a model for creating ones desires in life harnessing the Law of Attraction. Although the first two don’t specifically allude to it, it is easy to see this is at the heart of what they say. For “Florence” it was Perfect Faith. Neale describes the process of “Be, Do, Have. But it was Abraham who bought me clarity in applying the Law of Attraction by revealing that our emotions are the window through which we can determine whether we are creating positively or negatively. Thus the question “what am I feeling?” becomes very important in our quest to harness the Law of Attraction.

For much of my working life I have been involved in sales and I am currently employed at a retail shop selling electrical goods and appliances. I sit opposite the “star” sales performer of the store and it was amazing that no matter whether the store is quiet or busy he always managed to make sales. Sometimes where there were customers for us to serve he always picked the big spending one which brought me to think why this was happening?

I started examining my feelings I held when I was selling, only to discover at times they were full of struggle and pessimism. Comparatively my colleague was nearly always full of optimistic expectation. Thus it dawned on me, that through his positive thoughts the “star” was inadvertently invoking the Law of Attraction and so I decided that I was going to deliberately apply The Law of Attraction to my sales at work.

This blog is a record of this journey and also describes the process I have developed during this.

I hope you find it enjoyable and interesting.
