The Law Of Attraction Sales Warrior - At the Coal Face
I’ve been banging on for the last 8 weeks about LOA and sales and I’ve probably been boring you to tears. So I’ve decided to take a different approach today. I am going to tell you about my day at work yesterday. Hence the new title! I arrived at work after my usual stop at the nearby park to meditate for 20 minutes and was feeling positive energy as a result, although I was a little concerned as I hadn’t as much sleep as normal, as I had got caught in a poker game in Facebook (no money, just points) which I have become addicted to. When I awoke this morning and I had a strong flash, “no more trying, just allowing” which I had made note of and intended to observe for the day. What this meant to me was to let go. Let life flow instead of trying to make LOA work, which is where I often seem to end up. I was also mindful of a quote from a Blog by Just-Sandy. “Abundance is about lovingly accepting WHO and WHERE you are IN THIS MOMENT. It is focusing on all that you have and not losing yourself in all that you don’t have. Today will bring you a new awareness, a lesson or a manifestation that you are making progress- IF YOU LOOK FOR IT.” And so when I arrived at my desk I took moment to be thankful for I where was and what I had in this moment. For those who don’t know, I work in a large electrical appliance retail store, spending my day talking fridges, washing machines, fridges and other things to customer. Alot of the time it is enjoyable and I find I find it a lot less stressful than my previous jobs. The store has had its moments since the Global Financial Collapse with trade varying between almost not existent to very good, but I have found the more positive I am the, the better I do. That is, don’t get bogged down in other people’s winging and whining about the lack of customers. It was a slow start to the day and so I did the exciting chores like cleaning all the stock. But the lack of customers in the store was hard not to notice, especially when one of my colleagues noted that there were no customers in the store. I checked what I was feeling and I was calm and noted that customers often come later in the day and this was not the time to get panicky. I checked my folder of current orders to ensure they were all up to date and came across an invoice from one of my recent sales which was of high value. I remembered the feeling I had when I made this sale and it was good. So I decided to look through some of my recent top sales. Each time I noted the joyful feeling that came from making the sale. Now I was feeling very good. About ten minutes later I turned around from checking stock on my computer and there was a customer with the cutest little girl running amok amongst the washing machines. A dryer. “Wants it today. Can we negotiate a price. Yep. Done!” There’s that god feeling of success. “Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” I had been hoping to have lunch around this time and so after letting my colleague know I was going for lunch I headed toward the lunchroom to get my stuff because I thought I would go and enjoy the sunshine outside. But oh darn. There’s a couple looking at fridges which I have topass on the way to the lunchroom. “Hi. Want some help? Yep.” A nice couple looking for a new fridge for their family of seven! Firstly we start looking at fridges that will fit in the current space they have. Price around $2000. But no they’re not keen. “Can we look at something bigger?” Now we’re at around the $3000 price mark. Things are looking good! Nice but not over enthused. “What are these Liebherr fridges? Liebherr make cranes don’t they?” The husband asks. “Yep. And components for the Airbus A380. The Mercedes Benz of fridges.” I said noting that we’re now in the $7000+ price range. “Nice!” I thought. “But let’s not get ahead of myself. They’re only looking. Stay in the moment.” By now the husband was lovingly stroking what is by my own admission a pretty awesome fridge. That is if fridges can be awesome. “Move a couple of cupboards?” He asks the wife. She nods. “Not a problem he says.” Once again lovingly stroking it as I go over more of the features. “A brochure?” “Sure.” I said. He heads off for a smoke outside as the wife asks me about what we can do on the price. “Rats!” I thought. A brochure means not buying today but I dutifully go and get one and give the wife a ballpark for the price and she wanders off to look at ovens. Shortly he comes back. “Price.” “Yep. Can we do better?” “Order today? Deposit?” “No worries!” Soon, we are at my desk doing the invoice. “Look. You finish that with the wife. Need a TV. Going to look for a TV and DVD player. See you over there.” “Fantastic!” To cut along story short we end up with $8500 in sales and me getting lunch at 3-45pm in the afternoon. But who cares. $9000 for the day, (budget is $4000 per day) on a quiet day in the store. I’ll take that any day of the week! And so it goes with the LOA. When you are in alignment amazing things happen. Out of the blue great sales arrive. Easy high value sales. It is almost unbelievable and the feeling is great. I must say that recently I have been focusing on how I see myself as a sales person. I was the middle guy. Above average, solid and reliable sales person. But not spectacular. I realised that I had made a law for myself. I wasn’t a star. That was for other people. Now I say, “Why not? I can be great!” I now actively see myself with sales in league with the top 2 sales people in the store. I have also been remembering how I felt in my previous job where I was in the top 2. It seems to be working. I am 78% of my budget with 9 selling days to go for the month and looking good!

The Law Of Attraction And The Art Of Sales: Part 8 - Staying in the Moment
Staying in the Moment
In an earlier blog “Trying is Resisting” I wrote:
“Yoda was alluding to trusting the force. Being connected. Trying is our earthly effort. Trusting the source to deliver is doing of the highest order. And so in the process of creating sales or any of our other desires, once we are attempting to make it happen with action we actually block its arrival. We are resisting. We are no longer trusting the source to create. We instead have decided to give it a little earthly help along as we no longer expect our desire to be fulfilled.”
So how do we prevent ourselves from resisting the arrival of our desires?
I think trying comes about because as we focus on our desires we notice our lack. So we move to overcome this position of lack which we have move from our desires to focusing on the lack of what we desire.
To overcome this we must stay in the moment of now. Focus on all the positives in our lives. Appreciate what we already received. Be thankful. This has now moved us back from lack to the positive of what we have received. We are no longer resisting. We can now allow.
In terms of sales it means not focusing on how far behind budget, or how much the “star performer” has sold. It means appreciating the sales we have made. It means focusing on the positive feeling making a sale creates. It means focusing on feeling good and allowing sales to came to you. I have found if you remain focused on feeling good right here and now the most amazing sales will come to you. Some of the best sales I have been made on days when everybody is bemoaning the lack of customer traffic in the store. I always try and remove myself from this and it has transpired on a number of occasions that I have made great sales.

The Law Of Attraction And The Art Of Sales: Part 7 - Thinking, Feeling and The Expectancy Scale
Thinking and Feeling
As I have written this blog, a paradox of how we see our thoughts and our feelings has emerged for me. Modern society prides itself on rationality. The process of thinking. That is, making things happen through our thoughts, is king. Any reference to feelings and emotion is painted with the thick brush of irrationality. Abraham tells us that our feelings are actually a compass by which to guide us. We create our life through our thoughts. We attract into our life those things that are a matching vibration to our thoughts. Our feelings indicate which of our thoughts are in alignment with our higher self. Positive feelings indicate alignment. Negative feelings indicate lack of alignment. So true irrationality is to separate our thought processes from our feelings. To live without paying attention to our feelings is akin to sailing the oceans without a compass. The chances of getting lost become very high. And so as we know the key to deliberate creation is to follow the guidance of our feelings. “How do I feel?” I have found the key to consistent sales is to remember to look to the compass of my feelings. The times I fail to take note of what my feelings are indicating is the time I drift into poor results. I believe one of the key things to note in your feelings is your level of expectancy and for me this is one of the issues in manifesting your desires with the Law of Attraction. For your desires to materialize you need to use your thoughts to define your desires, regardless of what maybe going on around you in the physical world. Picture abundance and prosperity whilst the bills still pour in. Feel the money in your hands as you go to pay those bills even though the wallet maybe bare. The key indicator in your feelings is what do expect? You’re visioning paying your bills but deep down in you stomach is a little weed of fear. The fear of no money. The fear of the debt collector ringing you. The bank foreclosing on your house. This out of alignment you're your higher self, which only knows prosperity. You are still in the fear of lack and it is hard to manifest from here. A little device I have developed to help overcome this is the “Expectancy Scale”. The idea is to identify where your level of expectation is in relation to manifesting your desires. Once we have identified where you are with your feelings you can then choose a new thought to move you to a greater level of expectancy for the manifestation of your desires. Expectancy Scale Depression Pessimistic Melancholy Ambivalent Hopeful Expectant Belief When navigating, it is important to work out where you are before mapping where you are going. And so with the Expectancy Scale. By taking a few seconds to ponder your feelings and workout “where you are at” you can choose a better feeling thought to where you want to go. Often you will find feelings about desires are hopeful, as this position of many of our desires. By moving our thoughts to the position of belief, that is, I have received my desire and I am swimming in this feeling of being, you are moving towards deliberate creating. Hence you may start the day hoping you make sales. Move to thoughts and feelings of lots of customers coming to you and an easy flow of sales. Now you are deliberately creating and achieving great results. Next: Staying in the Now

A Practical Use Of The Law Of Attraction: Creating Sales Part 6 - Trying is Resisting
Trying is Resisting
My favourite movie quote is Yoda from one of the Star Wars movies. Sorry I can’t remember exactly which.
“No try. Just do.”
All that talk about using the force just looks spiritual to me. Isn’t it that we are all trying to align with our higher selves, which could easily be construed to be the “force”.
“Trying”, as Yoda was alluding to, is the single biggest blockage that we all face in manifesting our desires. In the Abraham-Hicks book, “Ask and it is Given”, manifesting desires is given as a 3 Part process.
Step 1: (your work) You ask.
Step2: (not your work): The answer is given.
Step3: (your work) The answer, which has been given, must be received or allowed (you have to let it in).
Trying is related to step 3, allowing the answer.
Modern business life is all about action. Set your goal and go for it. The process of allowing is far to a passive concept for modern management. Instead it is akin to waging a war. Marshall the forces to the goal and apply maximum effort.
This the method most sales people use. Talk or see as many people you can. Apply maximum effort and push like crazy to convert prospects into sales. All this effort equates to trying.
As I have applied the Law of Attraction to creating sales, I have found that, after meditating in the morning and being clear on my desires, often first thing in the morning a customer would walk in and say I’ll have one of those and so by 9-20am I had made my first sale! And often the process would happen again and maybe even a third time so by 10-30 Am I was looking good. The only trouble was that I wouldn’t stay open to the process and allow sales to be attracted, but instead start looking for the next sale and thinking about a number I was going to do for the day.
I was no longer open and free, presenting a positive vibration to customers. I would be pushy and fearful of not making the sale. So it transposed for a period that I would make some good sales in the morning but not doing anything in the afternoon. I had begun trying.
Yoda was alluding to trusting the force. Being connected. Trying is our earthly effort. Trusting the source to deliver is doing of the highest order. We are no longer trusting the source to create. We instead have decided to give it a little earthly help along as we no longer expect our desire to be fulfilled.
It is paradoxical that that which appears passive it vastly more powerful than the exertion of all our earthly efforts. Remain open and expectant of receiving your desires and you will be truly rewarded.
